Insure Fatbike or Cargobike with FietsZeker\u00a0<\/h1>

Since the end of May 2024, it is again possible to insure your Fatbike! FietsZeker has released a new insurance especially for Fatbikes and Cargobikes. More information on the\u00a0Fietszeker website.\u00a0<\/a><\/span><\/p>

How does the application process for FietsZeker insurance for Fatbikes and Cargobikes with track & trace work?<\/span>
When you buy your bike or e-bike in the shop, you can decide to have the bike fitted with a Tracefy track & trace system. Then, when picking up or ordering the bicycle, you can also indicate to the bicycle specialist whether the bicycle should be insured. The bicycle specialist can apply for a FietsZeker insurance for you. Please note that in the case of a FietsZeker theft insurance for Fatbikes and Cargobikes, it is always compulsory to take out track & trace bicycle insurance. A tracking subscription must also be activated. With Tracefy, this is always included in the subscription by default.\u00a0<\/p>

What should I do if my bike with connect bike insurance is stolen?<\/span>
When your bike is unexpectedly stolen, it is important to take immediate action. Consider: 1. Immediately report your bike as stolen in the Tracefy app.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>2. Report it directly to the police (fortunately, this can be done online). Is the bike still not found after 72 hours? If so, contact Fietszeker. They can tell you what the next steps are regarding reporting the theft.<\/p>
