Customer support & recovery associate
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Customer support employee. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our customers with technical questions. You will also sell our GPS solution to existing and new dealers. You will also assist our remote tracking partner in recovering stolen e-bikes, which can sometimes get quite exciting (see our Youtube channel @tracefy_iot )! Our office is located in Rijswijk. Therefore, it would be handy if you live nearby. Will you join our ambitious team?
What will you do?
- Telephone support: Responsible for taking incoming phone calls and providing first-line technical support to customers (consumers, dealers and bike manufacturers).
- Recovery: You help our remote detection partner to recover stolen e-bikes
- Sales: Selling our products to existing and new dealers
- Operations: shipping orders to our partners. For example, we have a dealer network of 1100 dealers in the BeNeLux and orders need to be shipped daily.
What do you bring?
- Minimum MBO work and thinking level
- You are interested in engineering
- You are patient and able to translate technical issues into simple explanations for our customers
- Fluent Dutch speaker and writer
- Good command of the English language

About Tracefy and the team
Tracefy is a Dutch tech company specialising in GPS solutions for electric bikes and scooters. We do this by making cycling more fun, smarter and safer. We also like to roll up bicycle theft gangs. We provide GPS technology for various delivery services, consumers and mobility companies. Bike manufacturers use the Tracefy solution to offer 'connected' e-bikes and, in addition, consumers can also have our GPS bike security installed in their e-bikes at one of Tracefy's affiliated dealers. Tracefy develops both the GPS hardware and software in-house.
Besides hard work, we also consider sociability very important. We have an informal working atmosphere and have a nice lunch together every day. We also have drinks almost every Friday afternoon and have regular outings.

Our home base is 'the Pilot'. De Loods is a cool collective building housing various (tech) companies. You will find De Loods in the Plaspoelpolder in Rijswijk, bordering The Hague and Delft. This high-profile location is centrally located, making it easily accessible by public transport, bicycle and car.
