Sales executive (40 hours)

About the role

Tracefy is growing fast. Therefore, we are looking for a experienced, commercial sales professional who sees opportunities, takes them and is not afraid to go for it. Someone who gets energy from new business, the building relationships and further professionalising our sales approach.
In this challenging job with a lot of responsibility you are on the road a lot: you actively hunt for new deals, invest in relationships, visit dealers and partners and call or visit prospects to close deals. You operate mainly within the bicycle industry, working with bicycle shops, fleet owners and bicycle brands. Our office is located in Rijswijk. Living in this region is therefore a plus.

What will you do?

  • Actively approach and win new customers (dealers, partners and corporate customers).
  • Visiting bike shops and other business customers.
  • Maintain and build on existing customer relationships.
  • Telephone and physical sales: you think and participate in the approach that works.
  • Spotting and exploiting commercial opportunities, sometimes also outside the cycling industry (e.g. TagMate).
  • Thinking along about the professionalising of sales processes, propositions and approaches.
  • Sparring with the sales team to take Tracefy commercially to the next level.

  • Collaborate with marketing to strengthen leads, campaigns and positioning.

Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience In a commercial sales role (B2B).
  • Strong commercial drive: you go for every opportunity.
  • Experience in or affinity with the bicycle industry is a clear plus.
  • Affinity with technology and IoT solutions (you do not need to be a techie).
  • Experience with or interest in marketing and lead generation is desired.
  • Independent, entrepreneurial and driven in a responsible role.
  • You find it fun (and logical) to be on the road a lot.
  • You dare to think outside the box and seize opportunities in other sectors.
  • In possession of driving licence B.
