The Tracefy Team

Tracefy is a young tech company with a team of enthusiastic professionals. In our home base - a former steel factory on the edge of the historic centre of Delft - we work on the further development of our services. Because technically there is always more possible and we like to push the boundaries!

In addition to our love for innovation, technology and cake with coffee, we have more in common: we are driven to improve existing mobility solutions. Moreover, we show that working on accessibility, sustainability and the quality of the living environment go hand in hand with realising simplicity and convenience for people.

Niels Penning

Technical Director

Sportsman with enormous passion for cycling and practically applicable technology. Thought of the GPS solution for cycling as an assignment at secondary school and then studied Industrial Design at Delft University of Technology. When his beloved bicycle was stolen, he decided to work on his GPS solution and gradually developed it into what it is today: an integrated solution for fleet management.

Jeroen van Kester

Commercial Director

Practically grew up in the bicycle and scooter shop that his father had opened in 1971 and learned the business trade there. He developed the family business from a small local shop into a leading regional business and was then ready for a new adventure. In 2017, he sold the business to focus full-time on another branch of the mobility industry: the development of Tracefy.

Greg Schouten

Technical Engineer

Active in IT since he was 15, so this field of work has no more secrets for him. He has an unstoppable hunger for new technologies and how they can be used and improved. With more than 10 years of experience in IoT, he is what you would call a connoisseur.

Boris Schouten

IoT Installation Specialist

IoT installation in any type of vehicle is the ultimate challenge for Boris. He is originally an electrician. About fourteen years ago, he rolled into the IoT field via GPS solutions for fleet management of cars. Now he applies all his knowledge and experience to small vehicles.

Bas Ouwehand

Back-end Developer

Back-end developer with more than 10 years of experience. He brings specific knowledge and experience in the field of track and trace functionalities which of course is very suitable for the further development of our platform, specific customer requirements and APIs.

Daniel Schutterop

He is our IT infrastructure specialist who makes sure that all the great things we develop keep running. Other important work by Daniel includes ensuring the scalability of our dashboard so that we have no limit on the number of vehicles we can connect to the Tracefy system.

Jarno van Wezel

Full Stack Developer

Our lead developer and code alchemist. Already built websites and applications for small businesses during his tech studies and has now been working professionally in PHP, GoLang and Javascript on the Tracefy platform with the team for many years now. He has a love for code and programming and wants to develop in this as broadly as possible. Jarno is completely at home at Tracefy and sees his work more as a hobby.

Ferry Post

Sales Account Manager Netherlands

Ferry has several years of experience in the international car industry where mobility was a daily topic. At Tracefy he is the point of contact for shops and dealers who (want to) sell our GPS trackers for E-bikes and scooters to end users. Feel free to contact him for more information:

Robin Steeman

Front End Developer

Robin has worked in automotive engineering for 9 years and when he hit a ceiling there, he resigned. After traveling for quite some time, he found his new challenge in software development. While traveling he learned several languages such as Japanese, but also Javascript :-). Robin is responsible for the Front-End of the software at Tracefy.

Bas Kuppers

Installation & operations employee

Bas started with us as an intern during his final year of technical business administration at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. For this study Bas studied car technology. The combination of these two studies, his commitment and because he is just a very nice guy who fits well with our team has ensured that we don't let him go. Bas helps us with the operations such as processing all orders, market research and with the installation of GPS trackers at customers.

Yaniv Davidson

Financial worker

Yaniv is studying Maritime Technology at the TU in Delft. He is very good at understanding all kinds of computer programs and writing macros in Excel, among other things, and has experience in international accounting. Yaniv helps us to neatly process the accounting in Exact and to make good financial reports and forecasts.
