Why a GPS tracker for your E-bike or scooter instead of, say, an AirTag or tracking transmitter?
There are different trackers on the market with different techniques. One tracker is fine for certain objects but much less so for vehicles, for example.
The bike had been stolen in the evening and the lady had immediately reported the bike as stolen via the Tracefy app. G4S immediately sprang into action but they unfortunately could not find the bike immediately as it was probably parked in a bicycle basement.
Haarlem bike had rented an Urban Arrow to a customer for two days. The customer had paid the deposit in cash. After the customer left, the landlord nevertheless began to doubt whether everything was correct.
The Gazelle had been stolen in the Utrecht area. This bike was still brand new and only a week old and we could see in the Tracefy system that the bike was transported towards Belgium. Eventually, the bike came to a halt in the Noorderkempen area.
